Angela Dewar is a professional artist specialising in the creation of embroidered textiles. Her work ranges from small pieces to larger-scale commissions and includes wall hangings and pictures, vestments and soft furnishings for churches, art quilts and greetings cards.
She is an experienced teacher and works regularly with organisations such as the National Trust, leading workshops for both adults and children.
In 1992, Angela Dewar became a Member of the Society for Designer Craftsmen, the prestigious association of designer-makers founded in 1888 by William Morris and Walter Crane.
